The Adam Walsh Act authorizes a variety of grant programs. Announcements regarding funding for various grant programs will be posted as the information becomes available.
The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP), is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for funding under the SMART Office FY 2010 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program. This program assists states, the District of Columbia, territories and certain federally recognized American Indian tribes with implementation of requirements under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, specifically Subtitle A of Title I, the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).
The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering and Tracking is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for funding under the Comprehensive Approaches to Sex Offender Management Grant Program and the Comprehensive Approaches to Sex Offender Management Training and Technical Assistance Program.
