DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME VICTIMS. VOCA funds allocated to Delaware adds additional funding to assist victims in our regular compensation program. The sexual assualt program and the Child Counseling and Assessment Programs also benefited from VOCA funds. The VOCA funds also help in our assisting the victims of violent crimes in a timely manner.2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACTH OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS? All claims are generally processed and payment is received by the vendors/claimant/victim within sixty days. During the past year payments to the victims of violent crimes and their service providers have been made as little as ten business days. The time is measured by automated means. We utilize an ACCESS program to measure the timeliness of processing claims.

YES IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR STATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION OR IMPROVE VICTIM SERVICES. Administrative funds used during this period have helped to provide training for mental health providers and also for a equipment updates. This has aided in our tracking expenditures, restitutions, and other internal reports.
