Please respond to the following questions
additional 8x11 sheets may be attached if necessary

1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME
   VICTIMS.
VOCA funds allow us to increase services and benefits to non-residents, as well as, to victims who are Nevada residents.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACT
OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS?
We have implemented effective cost containment controls that allow us to dramatically expand our effectivesness in reaching victims in need of assistance. We measure the amount we pay for crime category and type of expenses. We also measure how quickly we approve claims and pay claims once approved. We have reduced the time to approve a claim by several weeks in the last year. We are now approving claims within two (2) days of a completed application being submitted. We satisfied over $27 million dollars in claims with $7 million dollars in funding this FY.

3. DID YOUR STATE USE VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS?   Yes
IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR
STATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION OR IMPROVE VICTIM SERVICES.
We used our administrate funds to pay salaries, puchase supplies in local and national training conferances. The use of administrative funds for these purposes has allowed us to dedicate more state funding to victim payments, thus increasing our federal matching funds through this grant.
