Please respond to the following questions
additional 8x11 sheets may be attached if necessary

1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME
   VICTIMS.
The Missouri Crime Victims' Compensation Program is able at this time to provide services to victims of the entire state without the fear of having to reduce benefits as a result to funding issues. As of August 28, 2008 the SANE Program was transferred to the CVC Program, and has been able to provide compensation on the behalf of sexual assault victims. As always we continue to reach every county each year informing them of the Crime Victims' Compensation Program encouraging law enforcement, hospitals, doctors and prosecutors and advocates to apply to the Program. We continually strive to provide each victim with assistance with hope that it will allow some form of closure from the crime committed against them.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACT
OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS?
The Missouri Crime Victims' Compensation Program measures efficiency and effectiveness by the average number of days to process a claim by the means of automation. The average number of days is measured from the time the application enters the computer to the day that checks are requisitioned. The average number of days to process a claim remains at 41 days. We strive to continually assist victims in a timely manner, especially when the crime has affected his/her ability to go back to work.

3. DID YOUR STATE USE VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS?   No
IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR
STATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION OR IMPROVE VICTIM SERVICES.
