Please respond to the following questions
additional 8x11 sheets may be attached if necessary

1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME
   VICTIMS.
The VOCA funding has allowed the program to compensate in a not so tangible area as loss of support where documentation is difficult and concerns about monetary awards are valid. The VOCA grant enables this program to provide a reasonable level of compensation to victims in our state.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACT
OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS?
The Louisiana Crime Victims Reparations program measures the average processing time from the day in which a claim arrives at the board office until the date the board makes a decision. We use an average method of computing the average process time. The efficiency standards are calculated automatically when requested.

3. DID YOUR STATE USE VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS?   No
IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR
STATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION OR IMPROVE VICTIM SERVICES.
