1. Do I need my own Internet account to use GMS? And how long is it good for?

Your account does not expire. Public access to the web is available at most libraries. However, applicants without an Internet account should call the GMS Hotline at 888-549-9901 for further assistance.

2. How long is my password good for and what do I do if I cannot connect to GMS due to a lost password?

Your password is good for up to 60 days. For replacement password information, call GMS technical help at 888-549-9901 (option 3).

3. What happens if the GMS system crashes while I am uploading an application? Will the agency accept a hard copy of my application?

Hard copy application will not be accepted. Call GMS technical help at 888-549-9901 (option 3) for technical assistance. TIP: Submit your application in advance of the posted deadline so that any technical problems will be less critical and solutions can be worked out in plenty of time.

4. What if I can't navigate between GMS application screens, or I am having difficulty printing from within GMS, what's the problem and what should I do?

For technical assistance call GMS technical help at 888-549-9901 (option 3).
