Strategies to Prevent Prison Rape by Changing the Correctional Culture explores successful strategies and programs for addressing the problem of sexual violence in state prisons. A research team from the Urban Institute and the Association of State Correctional Administrators interviewed prison officials in 45 states. This report presents promising initiatives and practices identified in 11 states.
