The National Institute of Justice 1998 Annual Report to Congress summarizes NIJ's role, operation, and overall achievements during fiscal year 1998. NIJ in Brief, describes NIJ's organization, financial data, growth in funding, and collaborative activities. Overview of the Year synthesizes NIJ accomplishments in 1998 in the areas of basic research, applied research, and new technology.
