Factors Affecting Dual Arrest Rates

The dual arrest rate in domestic violence incidents decreased 34 percent when the offender was white, 58 percent when the offender was male, 41 percent when the offender had been violent in the past and 81 percent when the victim and offender were intimate partners. The dual arrest rate decreased by 1900 percent when the offender stayed at the incident.
