DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE HOSTS
ANNUAL RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE
WASHINGTON - The Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice (NIJ) will host its annual conference on June 15-17, 2009. Experts will discuss crime research on homicide, domestic violence, and stalking; forensic technology and the DNA backlog; supervising offenders using new technologies in corrections; and many other topics.
A listing of speakers and panels for the entire conference is available at www.ojp.gov/nij. The event is free and open to the public. Researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students, and media interested in criminal justice are encouraged to attend.
