 NBPI - Applying For Funds
  QUESTION  
  We receive funds through the Byrne Block Grants and HIDTA that pay partial salaries for some of our prosecutors. Would we still be eligible for funds through the NBPI program also?  
 
  ANSWER  

Documentation must be maintained to support that NBPI funds, when combined with other federal prosecution and pre-trial detention funds, do not exceed 100 percent of the prosecution and detention costs for NBPI cases. In addition, Jurisdiction CEO's or their designees must certify that their application does not request funds already reimbursed from other federal sources; or, when combined with other federal sources, does not exceed 100% of the cost of documented prosecution or pre-trial detention services.
