Can we use Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds along with the BVP funds to cover the costs of vests?
Answer:
Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds may be used to pay for that portion of the bullet proof vest (50%) that is not covered by BVP funds. The total expenditure of BVP and JAG funds must not exceed 100% of the cost per vest.
