For female victims, the percent of nonfatal intimate partner violence reported to police began at 51.2% from 1994 to 1995 and increased, reaching a high of 62.1% from 2004 to 2005.
For male victims, the percent of nonfatal intimate partner violence reported to police began at 48.3% from 1994 to 1995 and dropped to 42.4% from 1996 to 1997. Then the percentage climbed to 64.3% from 2004 to 2005.
