For victims less than 1 year old, the number began at 206 in 1976 and decreased to 184 in 1977. After 1977, the number rose to 216 in 1978, before falling to 170 in 1979. After 1979, it rose to 354 in 1991, before decreasing to a low of 201 in 2004. Then the number increased to 205 in 2005.

For 1 year old victims, the number began at 103 in 1976 and increased, reaching 118 in 1977. Then the number decreased, reaching 99 in 1978, before rising to 214 in 1993. After 1993, it decreased, reaching 124 in 1999, before rising to 174 in 2004. Then the number fell to 157 in 2005.

For 2 year old victims, the number began at 107 in 1976 and increased to 126 in 1978. After 1978, the number fell to 101 in 1979, before climbing to a high of 130 in 1984. After 1984, it fell to 107 in 1985, before climbing to 130 in 1988. After 1988, the number decreased to 101 in 1989, before climbing, reaching a high of 149 in 1994. After 1994, it decreased to 89 in 2004, before increasing to 102 in 2005.

For 3 year old victims, the number began at 72 in 1976 and fluctuates with a low of 67 as it increases to 79 in 1978. Then the number dropped to 61 in 1979, before increasing, reaching 73 in 1982. Then it fell, reaching 61 in 1984, before increasing to 90 in 1986. Then the number decreased to 54 in 1990, before rising, reaching 105 in 1994. Then it fell to a low of 55 in 2000, before climbing to 74 in 2003. Then the number fluctuates with a low of 60 as it decreases to 61 in 2005.

For 4 year old victims, the number began at 62 in 1976 and decreased to a low of 44 in 1985. After 1985, the number increased to 67 in 1989, before falling to 39 in 1999, where it remained constant until 2000. Then it rose to 54 in 2004, before dropping to 50 in 2005.
