Violent crime

For Hispanic victims of violent, the percent of crimes reported to the police began at 42.6 in 1992-1993 and fell to 40.0 in 1994-1995. After 1994-1995, the percentage climbed, reaching 53.9 in 2000-2001. After 2000-2001, it fluctuates with a low of 44.0 in 2006-2007.

For Non Hispanic victims of violent crime, the percent of crimes reported to the police began at 42.8 in 1992-1993 and decreased to 41.3 in 1994-1995. Then the percentage increased to 48.2 in 2006-2007.

Property crime - The unit of measure is the head of the household that experienced the crime

For Hispanic victims of property crime, the percent of crimes reported to the police began at 30.6 in 1992-1993 and decreased to 28.9 in 1996-1997. After 1996-1997, the percentage climbed to 37.5 in 2002-2003, before falling to 34.5 in 2006-2007.

For Non Hispanic victims of property crime, the percent of crimes reported to the police began at 33.7 in 1992-1993 and climbed to a high of 39.7 in 2004-2005 and then it dropped to 38.0 in 2006-2007.
