AWARD AMOUNT:

$30,000*

PURPOSE: This grant will be used to support the planning process for a tribal drug court. The planning team will attend Drug Courts Program Office training programs that will teach the key components/elements of a tribal drug court and facilitate team building and effective planning. The planning team will also visit other tribal drug courts and, if necessary, non-tribal drug courts to learn firsthand from the experiences of drug court practitioners.
