Putting the Evaluation Findings to Work
- Ensure offenders receive treatment and services in prison that continue upon their return to the community.
- Address barriers to successful community orientation and reintegration, including securing housing and employment, early in the reentry process.
- Conduct comprehensive individualized assessments to insure that the specific areas in which offenders need help are addressed.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships between reentry programs and local community agencies to provide more efficient and effective treatment and services.
