Putting the Evaluation Findings to Work

  • Ensure offenders receive treatment and services in prison that continue upon their return to the community.
  • Address barriers to successful community orientation and reintegration, including securing housing and employment, early in the reentry process.
  • Conduct comprehensive individualized assessments to insure that the specific areas in which offenders need help are addressed.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships between reentry programs and local community agencies to provide more efficient and effective treatment and services.
